Coşkun, a newly retired history teacher in his 50s, is extremely unhappy and decides to pour his life into art. For this, he first starts taking violin lessons, but thanks to the long insistence of his friend Saffet, who is a theater actor, he decides to become a theater actor and loves this job. Saffet, who is both a neighbor and an actor, begins to write Napoleon plays and asks Coşkun to be interested in vaudeville. Coşkun, who has developed in theater, begins to ask his boss Servet to produce plays from the Ancient Greek period. A very different play is staged in our hero Coşkun Bey's house. Each member of the house becomes a character.

Saadet Hanım, her mother-in-law, who has lost her mind, is waiting for Cemil Pasha, who comes to visit her in her dreams, and believes that one day she will come and save her from this house where she is stuck. In fact, sometimes Coşkun and his son try to make him happy by disguising himself as Cemil Pasha. Coşkun Bey's son Ümit spends his days doing water games, homework and imitations. His wife, Cemile Hanım, who worked and helped him from the very beginning of this game, shouldered the whole burden of the house with the money he earned by sewing. However, over time, he cannot prevent himself and starts to dream by going out of reality. On the other hand, Coşkun begins to live his life completely immersed in the world of theater by living what he wrote officially. From now on, where the game starts and where it ends starts to get mixed up. In the future, Coşkun begins to meet with Saffet's friend Emel Hanım, who is also a theater actress. But Cemile Hanım is not at all satisfied with this situation.

She wants Coşkun Bey to quit his theater job and get another job and take responsibility and get out of this fantasy world. Mr. Coşkun starts to work in a company, but he meets with Ms. Emel frequently, so there are rumors of love between them. This is why Cemile Hanım and Coşkun Bey are constantly arguing. One day, while they were arguing, Saadet Hanım suddenly fell to the ground and died. Upon this incident, law enforcement officers come to the house. Coşkun Bey cannot stand all this and goes to Emel Hanım. He says that he is tired of this life that he can't give any meaning to his life. According to her, the only person who understands her is Emel Hanım, and she likes this situation very much. They start a relationship that night. Coşkun Bey leaves his house and starts to live with Emel Hanım, but he is very ill. One day, he goes to the theater where his friend Saffet works and tells him that he wants to say goodbye to the stage life as all the actors do, and Saffet helps him. Coşkun Bey is backstage at the theater he loves and dies behind the scenes by getting sick.
